Spotlight on Cinnamon

I’m on week five of co-hosting Family Fun Friday Link Party! I love seeing all of the foods you’ve shared and cooked, and getting ideas for easy and tasty recipes. This week, I’ve decided to round up some recipes that include cinnamon. One includes one of the best cereals ever Cinnamon Toast Crunch! Also, I chose two cinnamon roll recipes, because everyone loves a good cinnamon roll. I love me some cinnamon, and I hope you love these recipes. 

1. Ever need a quick idea for breakfast? I’m a huge fan of crescent rolls AND cinnamon rolls — Leanne’s recipe for 20-Minute Crescent Cinnamon Rolls mixes the two and gives you a shortcut to some delicious-looking cinnamon rolls. (Urban Girl Bakes)
2. These pancakes have an oat/applesauce/Greek yogurt base and are topped with an apple cinnamon syrup (omg!) Check ’em out –> Apple Cinnamon Greek Yogurt Pancakes from Megan at Skinny Fitalicious

4. These Cinnamon Salted Caramel Apple Chips from Ashleigh at Simply Wright are covered in cinnamon and caramel, and would make a super-yummy & healthy snack! 
5. Who doesn’t love Cinnamon Toast Crunch!? These 7 Layer Bar with Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal include the cereal, chocolate and coconut. They sound SO tasty!! (from Paris at My Big Fat Happy Life)
6. Applesauce is so easy to make yourself.. why not MAKE it at home so you actually know what is in it?! Here’s Joanne’s Cinnamon Applesauce recipe from Seasonal Family Fun. Enjoy!
